Departure in the morning by a private minibus to get to the beautiful costal city of Essaouira. A lovely excursion to the Atlantic coast, which will enable you to visit and know this charming multicoloured city. The old MOGADOR is a city that put several personalities up like Orson Welles, Jimmy Hendrix and Cat Stevens. You can go for a walk at the Squala, the famous Portuguese fortress which dates from the XVIII century or admire the trawlers at the characteristic port that is surrounded with typical white houses with blue decorations. Optional Lunch in the restaurant. 

Continuation with the visit to the souks and the possibility to buy the local crafts products. 

Departure: 08:00 am and return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.

Essaouira

The sublime city of Essaouira (former Mogador) is a small port city located at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean just two and a half hours from the city of Marrakech.

Called also the wind city, the city of Essaouira offers to its visitors many possibilities of discovery and answers to all their cultural, artistic and sport desires (music, artistic exhibitions, swimming, horseback rides ...), its numerous Vauban ramparts and its original town planning give you the impression of being in Saint-Malo, and the hospitality of its friendly and courteous inhabitants will make you appreciate all the more this magical city.

During your visit to this amazing imperial city, you can admire wonderful flat landscapes , planted with trees and shrubs, pristine houses with blue shutters and visit one of the cooperatives of Argan oil before enjoying a delicious dishes prepared with love made from fresh fish


However, since the end of the twentieth century, Essaouira has experienced a spectacular renaissance mainly due to tourism, but also to its cultural vocation. Its medina has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.
